Ballet

Graded classes in ballet are based on the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing syllabus. Children begin ballet classes at age 5 years and progress through the grades until approximately 11 years. Students are then introduced to the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus at Vocational level. These streamed classes progress our students through an exam system to prepare the elite student for further vocational training.

Recreational students are also prepared for exams, and benefit enormously from the physicality, artistry and musicality of our classes. All children/students are encouraged to participate in our year-end show, enthusiastically demonstrating their skills learnt in the classroom to a large and supportive audience!
